Organic foods promote biodiversity. Reducing pesticides that can adversely affect the nervous system, increases
the risk of cancer, and decreases fertility. Also synthetic fertilizer drifting downstream is the main culprit for
dead zones in delicate ocean environments such as the Gulf of Mexico. Organic food helps to keep chemicals out of
the air, water, soil, and our bodies while also reducing your carbon footprint. Each new generation will be ever
more focused (they will have to be) on the health (and therefore cost) of foods grown with pesticides or treated with
chemicals. Crucible believes that there are a growing number of opportunities for investment in organic foods.
